Never the Same

As the rain streams down the windows
I look back & catch the small reflection
Remember what we share together
Remember being together
  was so much fun
Look over the phone as the peace settle in
  but I know you won't think to call
Do you remember how long it has been?

 As the rain softly falls my tears follow
  for without you my heart seems hollow
Remember now as I pray for once was
 the sun comes out an brights our souls

We where once reunite together
  now we are alone it never the same
Once we where living, loving and growing together
 but it never the same as it doesn't last forever

As the rain dances on the window panels
  the pain I fell still remains just when
    I think of us together the pain comes back again

Loneliness is the pain I must bare
  for the problem is I still care
through the sound of the rain the phone rings
I pick it up thinking you say my name
I wonder can things ever be the same
